Q-TERRA is a laser device that utilizes Nd:YAG as a medium for the purpose of incising, destroying, and removing tissue. It selectively destroys melanin pigments by instantaneously irradiating energy without destroying skin tissue or causing thermal damage. The procedure is virtually painless and has very few side effects, such as darkening or expanding pigmentation.
Laser toning treatment principle
It effectively treats not only dermal or mixed melasma, which are called malignant melasma, but also nevus of Ota, freckles, and blemishes. It destroys melanin in the dermis and stimulates fibroblasts that produce collagen, so you can achieve pore treatment and lifting effects at the same time.
